The “Star Icon Leadership Award 2026” ceremony and a cultural program were held in a grand and festive atmosphere.

On the occasion of the 6th anniversary of Manobadhikar Protidin, the event was jointly organized by Star Bangladesh Media. At this prestigious ceremony, individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and contributed significantly to various sectors were honored with the Star Icon Leadership Award.

Among the awardees, Fariha Akter Lucky, a student of Jagannath University, received the award in the Education and Research category.

The program took place on Monday, February 16, at 4:00 PM at the Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) Auditorium in Bijoynagar, Dhaka. The event, jointly organized by Manobadhikar Protidin and Star Bangladesh Media, was attended by prominent journalists, lawyers, doctors, business professionals, film personalities, singers, fashion models, and dancers.

The event, titled “E-Kroy Presents Star Icon Leadership Award 2026,” also featured a fashion show and a vibrant cultural program. The program was powered by FIEF, co-powered by Aditya, sponsored by Uparjon Mart, with ATN Bangla as the media partner, and Daily Kaler Samaj and Daily Sobuj Bangladesh as print media partners.

The Chief Guest of the event was Rezabuddaula Chowdhury, former founding president of JASAS and former Information and Research Secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

The Keynote Speaker was Khandaker Aminur Rahman, Senior Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Mofassol Journalists Society.

The fashion show stopper was model Md. Imtiaz, founder of Model Zone Grooming Institute, while the group dance director was Jamil Hossain Khan.

The event was chaired by Khandaker Asifur Rahman, Founder-Chairman of Bangladesh Mofossol Journalists Society and Star Bangladesh Media. The program was hosted by award-winning presenter and reciter Sabuj Roy.

In total, around 40 distinguished individuals from sectors such as showbiz, culture, media and journalism, business, ICT, real estate, manufacturing, and women entrepreneurship were honored with the Star Icon Leadership Award 2025, recognizing their contributions and leadership in humanitarian and professional fields.

Organizer Khandaker Asifur Rahman stated that the event was successfully completed. He emphasized that such initiatives aim to recognize and encourage talented and accomplished individuals from various sectors, which is a matter of pride for the organizers, Manobadhikar Protidin and Star Bangladesh Media.
