Staff Correspondent: Bangladeshi music artist Sharab Azman has received the prestigious “Victory Honor 2025” for his original Bangla song “Banglake Khunje Pai.”
Sharab Azman completed his Bachelor’s degree in Classical Music from the Department of Music at Jagannath University, Bangladesh, and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at Central Michigan University, USA. His musical journey began in early childhood, earning recognition at district and national levels, including the National Children’s Award.
In 2011, he became one of the Top 16 contestants of Channel i’s “Khude Gaan Raj.” Later, in 2023, he reached the Quarter Final of Channel i’s “Shera Kontho,” after which he moved to the United States for higher studies.
During a recent vacation in Bangladesh, Sharab Azman released the original song “Banglake Khunje Pai,” reflecting his deep love for the Bangla language and cultural roots. The song earned him the Victory Honor 2025, which was presented on December 25, 2025, at a grand award and cultural ceremony held at the Central Auditorium in Dhaka, attended by prominent journalists, artists, cultural figures, and media personalities.
Sharab Azman stated that the recognition has inspired him to continue representing Bangladeshi music on the international stage.
